2000 MW. It has developed a 554 MW power plant in Jordan with the first production planned for 2019. Through continuous technological improvements, Enefit has modernized oil shale fired power plants built in the 1950s and 1960s, ensuring continuous conformity with stringent European Union air emission limits.

Reducing air emissions and increasing operational flexibility

Enefit has constructed a new circulating fluidized bed 300 MW Auvere Power Plant, the levels of which are comparable to those of a contemporary gas-fired plant. To further reduce air emissions and increase operational flexibility, Enefit has increased the diversity of primary energy sources that may be used at power stations. The newest units are able to co-fire with up to 50% woodchips or oil shale gas.
